Russian FKD 8X10 Camera Plate to Film Conversion

My 8 X 10 Russian large format plate camera restoration and use site. This will show how I converted this camera to use modern sheet film. I became "addicted" to soviet cameras using Kievs and found this big guy irresistible. The main problem with using these is two fold. First they use glass film plates which are all but unavailable today. Second, the size of the plates is a weird by US standards 18X24CM which is about 1/2" smaller than 8X10. I decided the easiest way to resolve these issues was to adapt a normal film back off a wooden 8X10 camera.
